
OVERVIEW
Core Cube is a toy designed to help engage and help children through introducing core elements of developmental skills and helping with emotional regulation as well as inspire creativity.
Core cube allows for easy and simple learning while also being adaptable for endless possibilites.
Our team was briefed to create a prototype designed for kids, that is inspired by design history and designers we had learned about in our class History of Graphic Design.

As a company, we firmly believe in the abilities of children, and that growth starts with the core foundation of ability and knowledge. Developing well rounded individuals who can learn, grow, be creative and have emotional intelligence and regulation is crucial.
THE BRAND
THE PROCESS
THE CUBE
The cube is a box to store the interactive panels and other additional materials.
There is a starter kit that allows for you to choose panels that work best the kid and their needs.
The starter kit comes with the box, the bag, 5 panels, and 3 extras.

THE BAG
To provide an alternative way of storing the core cube products we added a bag to allow for easier storage and less space if in a hurry or need an easier way to carry your panels and core cube materials.
The bag also comes with a keychain.




My main role in this project was BRANDING
I started the ideation with looking for different ways to create movement, express interaction, and incorporate the essence of imagination. One of the key aspects of this product is our hope that children can have endless ways to interact with the Cube, as well as grasp these core fundamental building blocks needed to help them become better and rounded individuals.
When making potential logo marks, the idea of illustrations
also began to develop in the forms of stick figure drawings.
These illustrations bring an interactive child-like nature to the brand.
This project involved some trial and error and adapting to make it happen. We used the glow forge to cut our pieces but some of our pieces and Ideas didn't end up being possible, like cutting into the wood to create a slot so we added additional pieces of wood to outer wood to make the panels able to be slid into the cube.

Each purchase becomes customizable and able to be geared to the individual and their needs and wants.
We have three main categories of panels. Auditory, Tactile, and Visual. Each panel was designed to support children's learning and development by engaging one of their five senses.
